First Time Buyer Programs...
Currently there aren't any special programs specifically for first time buyers.
However, it is still a great time to buy a home because home prices and interest rates are low and this once in a lifetime
scenario will not last forever!
For buyers (1st time buyers and repeat buyers) who have limited funds available, you may wish to look into getting an FHA
mortgage. The minimum downpayment is currently 3.5%. If you happen to be a US Veteran, VA mortgages are zero down! Both
of those programs allow for sellers to assist in paying closing costs on behalf of the buyer which helps to reduce the
amount of cash you would need to have to purchase a home.
